Editorial policy
Bold Style Review aims to make clear, grounded observations about visual style. We distinguish what is visible from what we infer, and we do not present taste as fact.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terms and factual statements before publication and aim to explain design concepts without overstating them. Visual interpretation can differ with context, so we make the basis of an observation clear and avoid treating one reading as the only possible one.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a partnership. If we find an error, or a reader points one out, we review the relevant material and correct it when warranted; significant changes should be made clear in the affected piece.
Partners and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when that applies, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary images.
