What makes a good pitch

Propose one focused subject, explain the central idea and say why it would interest a curious general reader. A strong pitch has a clear visual angle, a distinct point to make and a sensible scope; broad promises to cover all of design are harder to shape into a useful piece.

What to send

Include a working title, a short summary, the category you think fits and a brief note about your relevant perspective. Make clear what examples or sources the piece would rely on, and flag any relationship that could affect how readers understand it.
